Jon Kenny - The Community Archaeologist

Jon is a child of the 60s and has a variety of skills, experience and qualifications. Jon used to be a housing officer committed to working with communities. When he went to University at York and Lancaster he never lost his commitment to giving other people the opportunity to know more about the past. Becoming a Community Archaeologist with York Archaeological Trust in 2006 was the perfect marriage of community and the past!
